Jordan Hood is a photographer working in various photographic media, video, film, and hand-made books. Her work is greatly influenced by the Southern landscape that she was raised on. She is interested in relationships, the idea of family, and how those influence one's life. In her work, Jordan is often questioning social influence and its affect on ones psyche. In her current body of work Entanglement, Jordan is exhausting her body and mind repeating the same action and building a shelter as a catharsis from negative social influence. Jordan Hood lives and works in Little Rock, Arkansas and is also a fashion photographer for Dillard's. She is holds an MFA in Photography from Parsons, The New School for Design. Jordan received her BFA in Photography from Memphis College of Art.
